Who holds power, how it changes hands, and the laws that set every national lever.
Politics
ImplementedEvery country, democracy or one-party state, runs on the same model: parties and factions competing for popular support, a government holding real power, and a wall of national laws you change through slow, costly reforms.

Flashpoints and Crises
ImplementedDisputed borders, divided nations, colonial struggles and insurgencies build tension as flashpoints. Powers take public sides, push or calm them, and take them to the Security Council. A flashpoint that reaches 100 becomes a standoff that ends in a settlement or in war.
Province-by-province growth, the drag of obsolescence and war, and where the money goes.
The people in every province — how they multiply, learn and move.
Research centers, technology trees spanning half a century, and the bomb.
Raising an army and fighting a war across the province map, on land, at sea and in the air.
Warfare
ImplementedHow wars are fought and decided: effective military strength rather than headcount, a commitment level each side chooses, front lines that move only when brigades take ground, and wars that end at the negotiating table or in a frozen stalemate.

Influence, threat, institutions, agreements and espionage between states.
Diplomacy
ImplementedHow countries measure their standing, feel about one another, choose sides and act abroad: prestige, directional opinion, bloc alignment, postures, ambassadors and the handful of unilateral diplomatic actions, with diplomats, treaties and organizations doing the rest.

Foreign Backing
ImplementedForeign powers sponsor factions inside other countries with propaganda, money, arms and advisors. Backing is a living stake that lasts only while support keeps flowing, makes the leading sponsor the one who can back a coup, and can be exposed and severed.

Modifiers
Policies, technologies, focuses, traits and terrain all work through the same named modifiers. Every one has a page listing what it does and everything in the game that grants it.
